Airport rapid line reopened, other delays persist

CLEVELAND — Flooding will cause delays on the RTA Rapid lines this morning as buses are sent to stations in some areas to take passengers to their destinations.

Riders on the Red Line between Brook Park and Puritas will have to use replacement buses at those affected stations, an RTA spokesperson said.
Flooding is also affecting the light rail service on the Blue and Green lines east of Shaker Square. Replacement buses will serve those affected stations as well, RTA says.

The Red Line from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport to the Brook Park station closed earlier this morning due to flooding in the airport tunnel, but has since reopened.

Please allow extra travel time if you are riding RTA to or from the airport today.
