You will learn
TheAirport Security Coordinator Training course focuses on aviation security and the many roles of the Airport Security Coordinator (ASC) and is designed to prepare individuals to perform the functions of the ASC as required by 49 CFR 1542.3. Upon completion of the Airport Security Coordinator Training course students will be familiar with the Airport Security Plan (ASP) as well as the regulations that govern airport security.
SSi’s Trusted Agent Training focuses on the complexities of requirements for issuing, tracking and auditing identification badges. Examples and real life studies will emphasize how to stay organized with the airport’s information and daily operation. Resource commitments and the responsibility for protecting the confidential information of others, training and specific guidelines for badging processes will be discussed.
The Airport Security Coordinator (ASC) Class is delivered in a classroom setting designed around the defined learning objectives listed above.
The Credentialing and Trusted Agent Training is delivered in a classroom setting designed around the defined learning objectives listed above. Students will receive a prerequisite Authorized Signer course delivered via SSi’s online learning portal. Student knowledge is guided though a mixture of lecture, interactive discussion, practical exercises and scenario resolution concerning current topics within aviation. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a Trusted Agent Training Certificate of Completion for their airport training file.
