Casper airport passengers numbers climb

 again

Booming passengers numbers at the airport have come back down to earth compared to earlier this year, when the airport saw 8,000-9,500 passengers a month. But they’ve still ranked near or set five-year highs this year, even as they gotten closer to familiar levels in recent months.
Passenger traffic spiked last November and December, beating passenger totals from the previous three Decembers on the strength of additional flights, a since-canceled route to the Phoenix area and larger-capacity aircraft.
The increased traffic bodes well for the airport’s end-of-year and holiday traffic.
“We’re happy to see another positive month of passenger traffic,” said Januska, in a news release. “With Allegiant resuming their seasonal service to Las Vegas Nov. 8 we are expecting a very strong end of the year.”
