KINGSTON, N.Y.- Investigators in New York have found the body of the Nashville pilot of a vintage military jet.

Divers recovered the body of Michael Faraldi, 38, early Sunday afternoon from the cockpit of the plane near the Kingston airport.
The plane crashed into ice on the Hudson River Saturday while trying to land at the airport. The FAA says The British-made BAC-167 Strikemaster was headed to Kingston-Ulster Airport in New York from Johnstown, Pennsylvania when it went down.

According to the Associated Press, The Strikemaster had made a fuel stop at an airfield in Johnstown, Pa., and did a flyover for friends at Kingston just before it crashed.
