Lynnfield Company Completes Project At Logan

J.M. Electrical, specializing in automated building system installations, completed security camera upgrade project for Logan International Airport.

The following is an announcement from J.M. Electrical Company:
J.M. Electrical Company, Inc., premier professionals in advanced automated building system installations, announced today that they have completed an upgrade of Logan International Airport’s security cameras in their extensive surveillance system.
The project was more complex than most because of the coordination efforts and time sequencing needed between organizations in the busy hub of Logan International Airport. To accommodate travelers, security protocols, and constant activity in their immediate workspace, the J.M. Electrical team installed cameras at different heights and with different installations at all hours of the day and night.

“We continue to select J.M. Electrical because of their extensive track record in meeting and exceeding performance guarantees, due largely in part to their excellent project management,” added Tom Sullivan, Project Manager at Schneider Electric. “Projects like these are even more complex than most. It was critical to work with a partner in whom we have complete confidence, and J.M. Electrical fit the bill.”
Because of the high level of security maintained throughout all areas of the airport, J.M. Electrical technicians dealt continuously with strict protocols to gain the authorizations necessary to access most areas. These increased demands made time-sensitivity even more crucial, requiring greater efficiency in other areas to complete the project on time.

“This project was a test for us in some ways, and its technological and logistical challenges allowed us to apply a wide range of our expertise and experience,” said John Guarracino, project manager at J.M. Electrical Company. “Despite the difficulty of coordinating with a range of authorities and the constant public activity in the area’s busiest airport, we are very happy with the results and believe the new system will help to keep Logan Airport safe and secure.

Boston’s Logan International Airport is well-known for its cutting-edge security, leading the nation in innovative technological safeguards in the decade.. Specializing in the installation of advanced integrated building systems for over 25 years, J.M. Electrical has the experience and expertise to weave together the project’s many logistical threads. J.M. Electrical also works in automation controls, fire alarm and security systems, instrumentation, retrofits, and renewable energy for clients throughout New England.
