Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. is one of about a dozen urban law enforcement officials from around the U.S. attending homeland-security-focused presentations in Israel April 10 to 16, 2011.
According to a news-release by the Milwaukee County Office of the Sheriff about the trip:

This expedition and seminar has been funded entirely by the American Israel Educational Foundation (AEIF) to promote the exchange of best practices in airport security and other law enforcement fields: security in public places; mass casualty management; bomb disposal technology; and intelligence analysis and sharing.
