LONDON – A security alert at Glasgow airport has been lifted.
Police said Thursday a suspicious package found there late Wednesday night turned out not to pose a threat.
The airport had not been closed, but some people had been evacuated and some domestic flights had been delayed.
Security staff at U.K. airports are on high alert for suspicious packages after two mail bombs bound for Chicago were found in England and Dubai last week.
