(Leader-Telegram (Eau Claire, WI) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) March 20–The Fousts live in Eau Claire, but they spend nearly as much time at 30,000 feet as they do at home.

Jeanne Foust is the global manager for standards and interoperability for California-based software company Esri, which builds and supports geographic information system software.

Brady Foust is a consulting geographer for CoreLogic — also based in California — and a retired UW-Eau Claire geography professor.

Both fly more than 100,000 miles each year. Both also welcomed Chippewa Valley Regional Airport’s service to Chicago, which marked its one-year anniversary March 1.

The airport previously provided service to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. Chippewa Valley Airport Service, which offers 11 round-trip shuttles daily to the Twin Cities, has seen ridership increase 7 percent since the airport’s switch, according to general manager Dan Pekol.
